The BST Trade-Up Guarantee is designed to give all BST purchases a clear path toward your next watch. Here’s what you need to know.
Eligibility, conditions, and full terms
The BST Trade-Up Guarantee applies to all watches purchased from Baker Street Timepieces by the original purchaser.
The program is non-transferable.
Within 30 days of your original purchase:
Receive 95% of your original purchase price as trade credit toward another qualifying BST timepiece.
After 30 days:
Receive 90% of your original purchase price as trade credit toward another qualifying BST timepiece.
The Trade-Up Guarantee is a trade credit program and is not a cash buy-back guarantee.
To receive the guaranteed Trade-Up value, the watch must:
Reasonable wear from normal use is expected and does not automatically reduce the trade value of the watch.
Material damage, missing components, significant mechanical issues, modifications, aftermarket alterations, or substantial changes in condition may reduce the Trade-Up value or make the watch ineligible for the guaranteed percentage.
Guaranteed Trade-Up credit is calculated from the net purchase price of the watch itself.
It does not include:
To use the BST Trade-Up Guarantee, the replacement BST timepiece must have a purchase price at least 25% greater than the original purchase price of the watch being traded.
Trade-Up credit is applied toward the purchase of the replacement watch and has no cash value.
All Trade-Up watches are subject to inspection by Baker Street Timepieces before trade credit is finalized.
BST will confirm the watch’s condition, operation, configuration, authenticity, and included materials.
If the watch no longer meets the requirements of the Trade-Up Guarantee, BST may provide a revised trade offer based on its current condition and market value.
If your original BST purchase included a trade-in, the Trade-Up Guarantee applies to the BST watch purchased, based on its eligible net watch purchase price.
The value of the original trade-in does not create a right to recover that same physical watch later.
The Trade-Up Guarantee may not apply to:
Any exclusion specific to an individual watch will be disclosed before purchase.
The BST Trade-Up Guarantee applies when your watch is being used toward another qualifying BST timepiece.
If you prefer to sell your watch outright, BST may still make a separate purchase offer based on current market conditions. That offer is separate from the Trade-Up Guarantee and is not subject to the 95% / 90% guaranteed values.
