STORY SUBMISSION GUIDE

Whether you're getting ready to share your story or you've already sent one our way, you'll find everything you need here.

ALREADY SUBMITTED?
Case received.

Thank you for trusting us with your story. We'll carefully review it before adding it to the Baker Street Library.
If you thought of something you'd like to add, change, or clarify after submitting, that's perfectly fine. You can reach out to us before your story is published.

SHARING YOUR STORY

You don't need to be a Baker Street customer, an experienced collector, or a watch expert to participate. Collector Case Files are about the people behind the watches. If a watch has a story that matters to you, we'd like to hear it.

A FEW HELPFUL GUIDELINES

Write in your own voice. We're interested in your story, not perfect prose. Tell us as much or as little as you need to tell it well.

Stories should relate to the current Collector Case File question and be appropriate for publication on the Baker Street Timepieces website. If you include photographs, please only submit images you have permission to share.

AFTER YOU SUBMIT

Every story is reviewed before being added to the Baker Street Library. We may make minor corrections for spelling, punctuation, or readability, but we won't change the substance of your story.

And then the part I think is especially important:

CHANGED YOUR MIND? THOUGHT OF SOMETHING ELSE?

Already submitted your story and want to revise it? No problem. If you'd like to make a correction, add something you forgot, replace a photograph, or simply have a question about your submission, contact us.

Your story remains yours. We want the version in the Library to be the version you're comfortable sharing.
