Make room

for your next watch.

•••••••••••••

Ready for something different?

Put the value of your current watch toward a Baker Street timepiece. You don’t need to have purchased from us before.

Selling privately may bring a higher price. Trading with BST offers a simpler path, putting your watch’s value toward your next piece without the work of listing, negotiating, and managing a private sale.

how it works

THREE SIMPLE STEPS

TELL US WHAT YOU HAVE

Submit your watch’s details, condition, what’s included, and clear photos. Let us know which BST watch interests you, or what you’re looking for next.

REVIEW YOUR OPTIONS

We’ll assess your watch and, if it’s a fit, discuss a proposed trade allowance and the balance toward your next piece.

COMPLETE YOUR TRADE

Once we agree on the proposed terms, we’ll coordinate inspection and next steps. Final trade credit is confirmed after inspection.

THE DETAILS OF THE CASE

How we evaluate your watch and what to expect.

F.A.Q.

Do I need to have purchased from BST before?

No. We welcome trade-in submissions for watches purchased elsewhere, whether or not you’ve bought from Baker Street before.

Watches purchased from BST may qualify for our separate Trade-Up Guarantee.

What watches do you accept?

We review each submission individually. Acceptance depends on the watch’s authenticity, condition, current demand, and suitability for our inventory.

Submitting a watch does not guarantee an offer.

How is my trade-in value determined?

We consider the brand, model, reference, condition, mechanical operation, service history, included items, and current market demand. Our offer also accounts for anticipated preparation, servicing, and resale costs.

Standard trade-in offers are assessed individually. The Trade-Up Guarantee’s percentages do not apply.

What condition does my watch need to be in?

Describe your watch’s current condition, including visible wear, damage, known mechanical issues, modifications, or aftermarket parts. Let us know whether it runs properly and disclose any known polishing, refinishing, or repairs.

Wear or missing items may affect the offer. Clear photos help us provide a more useful initial assessment.

Do I need the box and papers?

You can submit a watch without its original box or papers.

Tell us what you do have, including warranty cards, service records, spare links, straps, and accessories. These items can affect the trade allowance.

Is the initial offer final?

Any initial estimate or proposed allowance is subject to physical inspection.

We’ll confirm authenticity, condition, operation, components, and included materials before finalizing your credit. If anything affects the proposed offer, we’ll explain it and discuss revised terms before proceeding.

When should I send my watch?

Please agree on next steps with us before shipping your watch. We’ll coordinate shipping or a private appointment and confirm the arrangements with you.

How is my trade credit applied?

Your agreed trade credit is applied toward the BST timepiece selected for the transaction.

We’ll confirm the purchase price, trade allowance, remaining balance, and any applicable charges before you proceed.

What if I want to sell my watch outright?

Let us know when you submit your details. We can review your watch for a possible outright purchase and let you know whether we can make an offer.
