The Tudor Ranger is perhaps the purest modern expression of Tudor's tool-watch philosophy. Introduced in its current 39mm form in 2022, the Ranger deliberately avoids unnecessary complication: matte black dial, highly legible Arabic numerals, satin-finished steel, and a robust manufacture movement. It is a field watch designed to be worn rather than protected.

Case #600 has certainly fulfilled that brief. This is a well-worn example, showing honest signs of regular use throughout the case and bracelet. There is also a faint scratch on the sapphire crystal around the 11–12 o'clock position, which we specifically note for transparency. The watch remains attractive overall, but this is not being represented as a lightly worn or collector-grade example.

🧭 BUILT TO BE WORN

The Ranger's simplicity is intentional. Tudor equips it with the same COSC-certified MT5402 architecture found in considerably more expensive models, including a silicon balance spring and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.

The satin-finished surfaces are particularly appropriate on a watch like this. Rather than trying to disguise its tool-watch identity with extensive polishing or decorative finishing, the Ranger embraces the aesthetic of functional equipment.

Case #600 has accumulated the marks of exactly that sort of ownership.
