Case #179 โ Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope
Status: Active Investigation
Condition: Very good pre-owned
Scope: Watch + cards (full links)
The Speedmaster Chronoscope takes familiar Speedmaster DNA and pushes it into a more technical, information-dense direction. With its multi-scale dial and larger case size, it blends chronograph heritage with modern executionโpurposeful, detailed, and unapologetically bold.
This example presents in very good pre-owned condition, offered as a watch-and-cards set with full links and visible wear consistent with regular, careful use. Surface wear is present on the case and bracelet, while the dial and crystal remain clean and clear, keeping the overall presentation sharp.
Case: 43mm stainless steel
Bezel: Fixed tachymeter bezel
Dial: Silver multi-scale dial (tachymeter, pulsometer, telemeter)
Crystal: Sapphire
Movement: Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer automatic
Chronograph: Column-wheel chronograph
Power Reserve: 60 hours
Bracelet: Stainless steel bracelet (full links)
Scope: Watch + cards
Condition Notes: Very good overall; visible surface wear consistent with honest use; dial and crystal present clean
Where the Moonwatch is about restraint, the Chronoscope is about information. Multiple timing scales, a bolder dial layout, and a modern movement give this Speedmaster a different voiceโmore technical, more expressive, and built for collectors who appreciate complexity done well. It wears its purpose on its sleeve, and it wears its history honestly.
If you love Speedmaster heritage but want something more data-driven and distinctive on the wrist, Case #179 is the move: modern execution, strong presence, and a dial that rewards every close look.
๐ Every case deserves a closer look.
