While it shares the familiar Speedmaster silhouette, it distinguishes itself with a remarkably practical complication set that includes a chronograph, day and month display, a central pointer date ("pointer date") indicated by a dedicated arrow-tipped hand, a 24-hour indicator, and small seconds—all within a compact and highly wearable 39mm case.

The pointer date is one of this reference's defining characteristics.
