The Cartier Santos 100 XL takes one of the most historically important designs in wristwatch history and gives it considerably more presence. Introduced in 2004 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Louis Cartier's original watch for pioneering aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Santos 100 transformed the familiar square case, exposed bezel screws, Roman numerals, and railway minute track into a substantially larger modern sports watch.

Reference W20073X8 pairs the substantial stainless-steel case with Cartier's classic white Roman-numeral dial and black leather strap. Despite its "XL" designation, the case itself measures approximately 38mm wide by 41.3mm, with its roughly 51mm overall length giving the watch its imposing wrist presence.
