Case #625 — Tudor Pelagos LHD Ref. M25610TNL-0001

Status: Available
Condition: Excellent Pre-Owned
Scope: Box, Papers, Cards, and Rubber Strap

Case Notes

The Pelagos LHD is one of Tudor’s most purposeful modern tool watches, and also one of its most unusual.

The crown sits at 9 o’clock rather than 3, shifting it away from the standard Pelagos layout and making the watch immediately recognizable. The black dial carries beige-toned luminous markers, while the date wheel alternates red and black numerals, adding just enough character to what is otherwise an uncompromising professional dive watch.

The case is built from titanium and steel, fully satin finished, and rated to 500 meters. The titanium bracelet uses Tudor’s proprietary extension system, and the watch is also accompanied by its rubber strap, giving the next owner both factory configurations.

Inside is Tudor’s Manufacture Calibre MT5612-LHD, a COSC-certified automatic movement with approximately 70 hours of power reserve.

This example dates from 2024 and presents in Excellent Pre-Owned condition. It includes its Box, Papers, Cards, and Rubber Strap and is currently sized for approximately a 7¾-inch wrist.

Because it dates from 2024, it remains within Tudor’s five-year transferable factory guarantee, subject to the exact warranty-card date and Tudor terms.

Collector Provenance

The Pelagos LHD is not simply a standard Pelagos with the crown moved to the other side.

Tudor built a distinct version around the left-hand-drive format, pairing the crown at 9 o’clock with its own MT5612-LHD movement designation, numbered caseback, beige-toned luminous material, and roulette-style date wheel.

That gives it a much stronger identity than a typical handedness variation.

The LHD also occupies an interesting position in Tudor’s modern range. While the Pelagos 39 and Pelagos Ultra have expanded the family in different directions, the LHD remains the only 500-meter Pelagos with the reversed crown layout and this specific vintage-leaning dial treatment.

Design Provenance

The color palette is subtle but important.

The black dial and ceramic bezel are softened by beige luminous plots and bezel markings, giving the watch a warmer tone than the standard modern Pelagos.

The alternating red and black date numerals add a small detail that rewards close inspection without disrupting legibility.

The crown at 9 o’clock is the defining visual cue. Whether worn on the left or right wrist, it gives the case a different balance and immediately separates the watch from a conventional Pelagos.

Technical Provenance

The Pelagos LHD is built as a serious saturation-diving instrument.

The 42 mm titanium case is rated to 500 meters, supported by a screw-down crown, automatic helium escape valve, sapphire crystal, and unidirectional ceramic bezel.

Inside is the COSC-certified MT5612-LHD, offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve.

The bracelet is equally functional. Tudor’s clasp includes a mechanical extension system designed to accommodate changes in wrist size and diving use.

The included rubber strap extends that flexibility further and gives the owner a second factory configuration without needing to source accessories later.

From the Case File

This is the kind of Tudor that makes more sense the more closely you look at it.

The reversed crown, numbered caseback, roulette date wheel, beige lume, titanium construction, 500-meter depth rating, and factory rubber strap all add up to a watch with considerably more personality than a straightforward black dive watch.

Case 625 dates from 2024, presents in Excellent Pre-Owned condition, and includes Box, Papers, Cards, and the Rubber Strap.

It is currently sized for approximately a 7¾-inch wrist and retains meaningful Tudor factory warranty coverage.

BST Verdict

One of Tudor’s most distinctive modern professional watches.

The Pelagos LHD combines true saturation-diving specifications with details found nowhere else in the standard Pelagos family: the left-side crown, numbered caseback, roulette date wheel, beige lume, and dedicated MT5612-LHD movement.

Case 625 adds Excellent condition, a 2024 date, BPC, factory rubber strap, and remaining Tudor warranty to an already uncommon configuration.

Every case deserves a closer look.
