🔎 Case Notes

There are few modern Omega sports watches more immediately recognizable than the blue Seamaster Diver 300M.

The polished blue ceramic dial carries the collection’s laser-engraved wave pattern, paired with a matching blue ceramic dive bezel, skeletonized hands, and the substantial stainless-steel bracelet that gives this configuration its full wrist presence.

At 42 mm, it is unmistakably a modern sports watch, but the curved case architecture and articulated bracelet keep the proportions balanced. Underneath sits Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, combining serious dive-watch capability with modern antimagnetic performance and a sapphire exhibition caseback.

This example dates from 2024 and presents in excellent pre-owned condition. It includes its box, papers, and cards, is currently sized for approximately a 7¾-inch wrist, and remains within Omega’s five-year international factory warranty period, subject to the exact purchase date on the warranty card and Omega’s warranty terms.

🌟 Collector Provenance

The Diver 300M has been one of Omega’s defining sports-watch families since 1993, and this generation brought the model firmly into the modern Master Chronometer era.

The familiar ingredients remain: scalloped bezel, skeletonized hands, helium escape valve, steel bracelet, and unmistakable wave dial. But the materials and mechanics have moved forward substantially.

The dial and bezel are now ceramic, the movement is visible through a sapphire caseback, and the Calibre 8800 brings METAS certification and exceptional magnetic resistance to a design that remains immediately recognizable as a Seamaster.

🌟 Technical Provenance

The Calibre 8800 is central to what separates this generation from earlier Diver 300Ms.

It provides approximately 55 hours of power reserve and carries Master Chronometer certification, with testing covering the fully assembled watch rather than simply the uncased movement.

The movement’s resistance to strong magnetic fields also removes one of the most common threats to mechanical-watch accuracy in everyday life.

Combined with a screw-down crown, helium escape valve, ceramic bezel, and 300-meter depth rating, the Seamaster remains a legitimate professional diver beneath the polished surfaces.

🧾 From the Case File

The full steel configuration gives the blue Seamaster considerably more presence than its rubber-strap counterpart.

The bracelet visually broadens the watch and provides a strong contrast against the deep blue ceramic dial and bezel, while the polished and brushed case surfaces give the watch enough refinement to move beyond strictly casual wear.

This particular example lands in the desirable portion of the secondary market: 2024 dated, excellent condition, BPC, generously sized, and still carrying meaningful Omega factory warranty coverage.

It offers most of what a buyer receives with a new Seamaster, without requiring a new-watch purchase.

🗝️ BST Verdict

The quintessential modern blue Seamaster.

The ceramic wave dial, matching bezel, full steel bracelet, Calibre 8800, and 300-meter capability make this one of Omega’s strongest everyday sports-watch packages.

Case 662 adds the details we want in a recent pre-owned example: excellent condition, complete presentation, remaining factory warranty, and ample bracelet sizing.
