Case #664 — Omega Seamaster Diver 300 (Black/Mesh) Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.010
Status: Available
Condition: Very Good Pre-Owned
Scope: Inner Omega Wooden Box, Papers, and Cards
Case Notes
This is the Seamaster Diver 300M stripped back to its essentials.
No date window. No polished ceramic dial. No standard multi-link bracelet.
Instead, Omega gave this generation a black aluminum dial with a fine laser-engraved wave pattern, a matching black anodized aluminum bezel, a domed sapphire crystal, and a brushed stainless-steel mesh bracelet. The result feels cleaner, more vintage-inspired, and noticeably different from the familiar ceramic-wave Seamaster that defined the previous generation.
The dial is especially effective. The black aluminum has a softer, less reflective character than ceramic, while the no-date layout restores perfect symmetry to the face. Combined with the mesh bracelet, it gives the watch a distinctly tool-watch personality without sacrificing the modern engineering underneath.
Power comes from Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback and offering approximately 55 hours of power reserve.
This example dates from 2025 and presents in Very Good Pre-Owned condition. It includes its Omega inner wooden box, papers, and cards, and the factory mesh bracelet will accommodate approximately an 8-inch wrist.

Collector Provenance
This reference marks an important design shift within the modern Seamaster Diver 300M family.
Omega retained the familiar 42 mm case, skeletonized hands, helium escape valve, and 300-meter capability, but changed the visual character significantly by moving from polished ceramic to aluminum for both the dial and bezel.
The no-date layout matters as well. Removing the date window gives the dial a cleaner, more balanced appearance and moves the watch closer to the stripped-down aesthetic of earlier professional dive watches.
The mesh bracelet completes the change. Rather than the conventional Seamaster bracelet, Omega paired this reference with a brushed Milanese-style steel mesh bracelet, giving it a more vintage-informed and slightly more utilitarian profile.
Design Provenance
Black aluminum behaves differently from ceramic.
It does not have the same glossy, almost liquid surface. Instead, the dial absorbs more light, allowing the engraved wave pattern and luminous markers to do the visual work.
The domed sapphire crystal adds another layer of vintage character, while the brushed mesh bracelet gives the watch a lower-key, more tool-oriented feel than the familiar polished-and-brushed link bracelet.
The result is still unmistakably a Seamaster, but the personality is quieter, more symmetrical, and more historically grounded.
Technical Provenance
Inside is Omega’s Master Chronometer Calibre 8806.
The movement is METAS-certified, runs at 25,200 vibrations per hour, uses Omega’s Co-Axial escapement, and provides approximately 55 hours of power reserve.
It is also highly resistant to magnetic fields and visible through the sapphire caseback.
The surrounding hardware is equally serious: screw-down crown, helium escape valve, unidirectional dive bezel, sapphire crystal, and 300 meters of water resistance.
From the Case File
This is one of the easiest modern Seamaster configurations to understand once it is on the wrist.
The no-date dial is balanced. The aluminum surfaces are less flashy. The mesh bracelet conforms closely to the wrist and changes the entire feel of the watch compared with the standard steel bracelet.
This 2025 example presents in Very Good Pre-Owned condition and includes its inner Omega wooden box, papers, and cards.
The mesh bracelet will accommodate approximately an 8-inch wrist.
For a buyer who likes the modern Seamaster platform but prefers a cleaner, less polished execution, this is the reference to look at.
BST Verdict
A modern Seamaster with a distinctly different personality.
The no-date layout, black aluminum dial and bezel, domed sapphire crystal, brushed mesh bracelet, and Calibre 8806 combine into one of the most restrained and cohesive Diver 300M configurations Omega has produced in recent years.
Case 664 adds a 2025 date, Very Good condition, papers and cards, and generous bracelet sizing to a reference that already stands apart from the standard ceramic-wave models.
Every case deserves a closer look.
