Case #318 — Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope Blue Ref. 329.30.43.51.03.001
Status: Active Investigation
Condition: Excellent Pre-Owned
Scope: Box, Papers, and Cards
Year: 2022
The Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope Ref. 329.30.43.51.03.001 is one of the most technically intriguing modern Speedmasters — a watch that blends the brand’s chronograph heritage with a highly detailed, instrument-inspired dial.
This reference features a deep blue dial with multiple timing scales, including tachymeter, pulsometer, and telemeter — a layout that reflects Omega’s historic chronograph designs from the 1940s. Despite the complexity, the dial remains well-balanced and highly legible, offering both visual depth and real functionality.
At 43mm, the Chronoscope carries strong wrist presence, but the proportions remain wearable thanks to its thoughtful case design. The polished and brushed surfaces add refinement, while the dial itself becomes the centerpiece of the watch.
Powering the watch is Omega’s manual-wind Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement (Cal. 9908), reinforcing the Chronoscope’s connection to traditional chronograph watchmaking while incorporating modern precision and finishing.
This example dates to 2022 and is presented in excellent pre-owned condition, showing little to no evidence of wear. The dial and sapphire crystal remain clean, and the bracelet presents exceptionally well.
The watch includes box, papers, and cards, and is currently sized to fit approximately a 7.5-inch wrist.
