🔎 CASE NOTES

The Breitling Superocean Heritage II takes the clean, mid-century character of the original 1957 Superocean and updates it with thoroughly modern construction. Case #606 is particularly interesting because of its white dial, a significantly less common configuration than the black and blue examples that dominate the secondary market.

The combination of the bright white dial, ceramic dive bezel, and Breitling's distinctive steel mesh bracelet gives this watch an entirely different personality from the typical dark-dial diver. At 42mm, it also strikes a particularly versatile balance between the larger Superocean Heritage models and traditional dive-watch proportions.

This 2017 example is especially notable as an early example of the Superocean Heritage II generation, which debuted that year with the Breitling B20 automatic movement, based on Tudor's MT5612 architecture. The COSC-certified B20 provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve and helped make this generation a substantial mechanical upgrade over its predecessor.

Case #606 is presented in excellent pre-owned condition, complete with box, papers, and card, and is currently sized for approximately a 7-inch wrist.

⚪ THE WHITE DIAL

The white dial is what separates this example from the crowd. Most AB2010s encountered on the secondary market are black, blue, or later green configurations, making the white version a considerably less familiar sight.

Against the polished steel mesh bracelet and ceramic bezel, the lighter dial also gives the 42mm Superocean Heritage II a cleaner, almost nautical character while maintaining the functional architecture of a legitimate 200-meter dive watch.

⚙️ THE B20 GENERATION

The Superocean Heritage II marked an important mechanical transition for Breitling. Its B20 movement shares its fundamental architecture with Tudor's MT5612 and delivers COSC-certified chronometer performance and approximately 70 hours of reserve.

That three-day reserve, combined with a screw-down crown, ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal and 200-meter water resistance, makes the Heritage II substantially more than a vintage-inspired design exercise.

Case #606 combines one of the cleanest Superocean Heritage designs with one of its least commonly encountered dial configurations.
