Case #682 — Luminox Navy SEAL Foundation 3250 Series Sand Dial Ref. XS.3251.CB.NSF
Status: Available
Condition: Like New Pre-Owned — Likely Unworn
Scope: Box, Papers, Undated / Uncompleted Warranty Card, Rubber Strap, and NATO Strap
Case Notes
The sand dial is what makes this Navy SEAL Foundation edition immediately different from the standard Luminox formula.
Rather than the familiar all-black tactical palette, the XS.3251.CBNSF.SET pairs a warm sand-colored dial with a black CARBONOX bezel and blackened steel case, creating a watch that still looks purpose-built but carries a much stronger desert-field aesthetic.
That color choice is deliberate. Luminox describes the sand dial as a tribute to military service in Afghanistan and throughout the Middle East, while the watch itself forms part of the brand’s ongoing partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation.
This example presents in Like New condition and appears likely never to have been worn. It includes its Box, Papers, and an undated and uncompleted warranty card, along with both factory strap options: black rubber and sand-colored NATO-style nylon.
Both straps will accommodate approximately an 8-inch wrist.
Production date is currently unknown.

Collector Provenance
The connection between Luminox and the Navy SEAL community goes back more than three decades.
Luminox traces the relationship to the early 1990s, when the brand was approached regarding a highly legible watch suitable for night operations. That association eventually developed into a broader relationship with Naval Special Warfare and, later, an official partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation.
The Foundation supports Naval Special Warfare service members, veterans, and their families through programs focused on health, resilience, education, community, and transition support.
This 3250 Series edition was created specifically around that partnership rather than simply using military styling as a theme.
Design Provenance
The sand dial defines this reference.
Against the black bezel and case, it creates considerably more contrast than the standard dark Luminox palette, while retaining the large markers and straightforward tool-watch layout associated with the brand.
The watch also comes as a two-strap package.
The black rubber strap keeps the watch firmly in dive-watch territory, while the sand-colored nylon strap pushes the design toward a field and military aesthetic.
That gives the watch two very different personalities without requiring an aftermarket strap purchase.
Technical Provenance
The specification is straightforward and built around durability.
A 45 mm stainless-steel case is paired with a lightweight CARBONOX bezel, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, and 200 meters of water resistance.
Inside is the Swiss quartz Ronda 715, offering long battery life and simple ownership.
The other defining Luminox feature is its self-powered illumination system.
Rather than relying entirely on conventional lume that must first be charged by light, Luminox Light Technology uses self-powered illumination elements designed to remain visible continuously in low-light conditions for many years.
From the Case File
This is exactly the sort of watch where condition and completeness matter more than movement rarity.
Case 682 appears likely never to have entered normal wrist rotation and presents in Like New condition.
It retains its Box, Papers, undated and uncompleted warranty card, black rubber strap, and sand nylon strap.
Both strap configurations will accommodate approximately an 8-inch wrist.
Because the warranty card is not dated or completed, we make no claim regarding active factory warranty coverage.
BST Verdict
A distinctive Luminox with a real identity beyond the standard tactical-black formula.
The sand dial, black CARBONOX bezel, 45 mm steel case, sapphire crystal, 200-meter rating, self-powered illumination, and two factory straps make the Navy SEAL Foundation 3250 Series an especially complete everyday tool-watch package.
Case 682 adds Like New condition and what appears to be extremely limited, if any, prior wear.
Every case deserves a closer look.
