Case Notes

This is not simply a Divers Sixty-Five in a different color.

The Movember Edition was created specifically through Oris’s partnership with the Movember Foundation, with dedicated design details, special packaging, and a portion of the original sales supporting men’s health initiatives.

The 40 mm stainless-steel case is paired with a black dial, rose-gold-tone hands and applied markers, warm vintage-style luminous material, and a date window at 6 o’clock. The effect is noticeably richer than the standard Divers Sixty-Five while remaining faithful to the collection’s 1960s-inspired design.

The collaboration details continue beyond the dial. The screwed caseback carries dedicated Movember engraving, and the original brown leather strap features the Movember moustache motif. The watch was also supplied with a special heritage presentation box and an additional multicolor Oris NATO strap.

This was a genuine special-edition collaboration rather than a regular-production colorway. Contemporary launch coverage notes that the watches were not individually numbered and that Oris did not publish a fixed production total.

Inside is Oris Calibre 733, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200-1, with approximately 38 hours of power reserve.

This 2018 example is graded Good Pre-Owned. Surface scratches are visible on the caseback, and the original leather strap shows wear consistent with use.

It includes its Box, Papers, and Cards, along with both the OEM leather strap and the Oris NATO strap.

The straps will accommodate approximately an 8-inch wrist.

Collector Provenance

The Movember Edition is one of the more story-driven versions of the Divers Sixty-Five.

Oris partnered directly with the Movember Foundation, tying the watch to the organization’s work supporting men’s health.

The collaboration was not merely promotional branding added to an otherwise standard watch.

The reference received its own dial treatment, dedicated caseback engraving, Movember-marked leather strap, additional NATO strap, and special presentation set.

That makes it meaningfully different from a normal production Divers Sixty-Five.

It is important to be precise about the edition status. Contemporary launch reporting states that Oris did not individually number the watches and did not publish a fixed production quantity. So this is best understood as a genuine, purpose-built Movember special edition rather than a numbered limited edition.

Design Provenance

The visual identity is warmer than most Divers Sixty-Five references.

Rose-gold-tone hands and applied markers sit against the black dial, while the luminous material has a deliberately aged appearance that reinforces the watch’s vintage character.

The date at 6 keeps the layout balanced.

The brown leather strap continues the warmer palette and carries the Movember moustache motif, while the included NATO strap gives the watch a more casual, period-inspired alternative.

The result feels specific to the collaboration rather than simply assembled from standard parts.

Technical Provenance

Oris Calibre 733 is based on the widely used Sellita SW200-1 architecture.

It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, uses 26 jewels, and provides approximately 38 hours of power reserve.

The surrounding case follows the Divers Sixty-Five formula: screw-down crown, domed sapphire crystal, unidirectional dive bezel, and 100 meters of water resistance.

The reference also received a specially engraved screw-down caseback identifying it as the Movember Edition.

From the Case File

Case 719 is a strong example of why completeness matters with special-edition watches.

It retains its Box, Papers, Cards, original leather strap, and Oris NATO strap, preserving much of the presentation that distinguishes the Movember Edition from the standard Divers Sixty-Five.

Condition is honestly graded Good Pre-Owned.

There are surface scratches on the caseback, and the OEM leather strap shows wear from use. Neither changes the underlying appeal of the reference, but both are disclosed clearly.

The straps will accommodate approximately an 8-inch wrist.

BST Verdict

A Divers Sixty-Five with an actual story behind the details.

The Movember partnership, dedicated dial treatment, engraved caseback, moustache-marked leather strap, special presentation set, and additional Oris NATO make this a genuinely distinct edition rather than another dial variation.

Case 719 adds a 2018 date and a very complete accessory package. The watch shows honest wear, particularly on the caseback and leather strap, but retains the pieces that make this Movember Edition worth seeking out.

Every case deserves a closer look.
