Panerai Radiomir Black Seal (Ref. PAM00183)

$3,450.00 USD
Case #0028

🧭 Character

This is Panerai stripped to its soul. The Radiomir Black Seal PAM00183 channels the Italian Navy’s WWII-era dive watches with a minimalist edge: wire lugs, no date, sandwich dial, and a hand-wound movement that demands daily engagement.

At 45mm, it sounds large on paper — but the cushion-shaped case and lugless silhouette wear far more comfortably than expected. The sandwich dial glows warmly at night, and the polished steel case gives it just enough elegance to clear the dress-code bar.

This example is in good pre-owned condition, lightly worn and unpolished. The sapphire crystal is clean, and the watch is keeping strong time. It comes as a complete full set — with box, COSC card, manual, and original strap included.

👤 Celebrity Provenance

The PAM00183 has been seen on the wrists of Orlando Bloom, Sylvester Stallone, and Hugh Grant — all noted Panerai collectors. Its clean dial and vintage silhouette have made it a favorite for both red carpet and casual wear. For Stallone especially, the Radiomir helped reintroduce Panerai to Hollywood in the early 2000s.

🕵️ Story

Before the Luminor, there was the Radiomir. This reference — the Black Seal PAM00183 — was one of Panerai’s earliest manual-wind reissues offered in the 2000s. It’s a love letter to the original Italian commando watches of the 1930s, but with sapphire crystals, Swiss finishing, and COSC accuracy.

Many examples have since lost their full kits or seen heavy wear. Case #0028 stands out by preserving the full package, including the COSC certificate and serialized paperwork. It’s an authentic Radiomir experience — still accessible, still striking, and still unmistakably Panerai.
